We all love books, and the Leatherby Libraries does everything in its power to make sure that you have access to the ones you need. We know you have the best of intentions to return your borrowed items on time, but sometimes, life gets in the way, and you overlook that important due date. What should you do?
When you have an overdue book, your first move should be to return it as soon as possible. The longer you keep it beyond the due date, the greater the fine. Remember, there are probably other students who would like to have access to it, too!
The next step is to respond to the email that you receive from the library regarding the late fees incurred. Call the Brandman University Library Assistant at (800) 344-5756 Ext 1. to verify the total amount due.
The Leatherby Libraries has several options for paying your fines, and our Library Assistant will explain them to you. Make sure that you take care of your outstanding fines to avoid any further action.
In the end, as much as we’d all like to keep every book close, we do have to abide by the due dates, so try not to sit on your overdue books too long. As always, if you have questions, please contact your Brandman librarians or library assistant. We’re here to help.
