The Leatherby Libraries databases offer thousands of articles from peer-reviewed journals. You can even limit your searches by adding this limiter. But, not all material retrieved meets the criteria for peer-reviewed. For example, the Harvard Business Review is classified as a peer-reviewed journal, but articles do not go through the process. To help you make sure that you are using articles from peer-reviewed journals, we created the video, Using Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory: The Final Word on Peer Review.

It’s one extra step, but when your instructor only wants peer-reviewed materials, you’ll be glad that you double-checked.

As always, feel free to contact your Brandman librarians if you need additional assistance.
